It was only 10 minutes of basketball but the ladies from Woodinville and Monroe poured in 53 total points. It was a game of transition with both teams pushing the ball and getting up and down the floor. Suzannah Olson led the way for Monroe. She is one of the best point guards in the state. She demonstrated skill going to the basket as well as shooting from the perimeter.
The smaller Bearcats from Monroe though had no answer for 6'1" Ali Forde. The young sophomore scored 12 points in less than 10 minutes and dominated the glass. Melissa Gilkey added 7 more points and as a team the ladies shot 12-16 from the free throw line. Final score was 29-24.
