It was only 10 minutes of basketball and it was only a jamboree nevertheless it was against one of the top teams in the state. Holy Names came in as the preseason #1 team in 3A rankings according to the Seattle Times. The Lady Falcons prevailed 19-14 with all 19 points coming from Forde, Gilkey, and Nybo. The ladies were 7-10 from the free throw line with Ali Forde hitting some key free throws down the stretch to seal the win. Nice test for both teams to start the season.
