Brock is an interesting 2A school in Texas. They are a small school basketball factory. They only have an enrollment of about 300 but have won the class 2A state championship 5 of the past 6 years. Seemed like their whole town travelled here to be in the stands as well. They are led by Oklahoma bound Kami Cole & 6 foot 1 Paige Parliament committed to Abilene Christian. Both very nice players. Game was tight all the way and we trailed 42-40 with 10 seconds remaining and the ball in our hands. Unfortunately, we turned it over and had to foul and ended up losing 44-40. Melissa had a double double with 10 points & 10 boards. Both Ali & Mel fouled out in the last couple of minutes. Brock would beat Cleveland of WA the following day and take 5th place in the 16 team tournament.
