Oak Ridge of California is in Sacramento and in California's largest classification. They are proudly the defending California State champs beating Cal Poly for the title last year. Fortunately for us their best player graduated and is now at Stanford (Sarah James). We grabbed the early lead and led most of the way and by as much as 10. They made a late run with both Ali and Melissa on the bench in foul trouble and even took the lead briefly. Ali hit a late three and Carmen came through with a big bucket and free throws to bring home the victory. Rita, Deidre, and Lex all had some big three's to help bring Oak Ridge out of their first half zone.
