Troy is one of my taller friends. He stands a little above 6'5" and on a good day with the right wind can still throw down a two handed slam. Troy is originally from Tennesee and is full of southern hospitality. He lived the last couple of years close by in Bothell but just recently moved to Park City, Utah. He is the father of 4 boys. Basketball is huge in his family. His oldest son Brandon brought serious disappointment to Bothell High when they left for Park City. Here is a picture of Troy with youngest son Britton at last years BYU basketball camp. Here is another picture of Troy showing his height advantage among friends. I first met Troy in Lake Oswego, Oregon where he was working a summer job during his college years. Troy was working for Eagle Marketing and trying to sell books to my family. We ended up playing a bunch of basketball that summer and later played together on some BYU intramural times. Troy moved to Washington about 2 years ago and we coincidentally ran into each other at an NYBA coaches meeting. |
