Season Outlook
Makenna is in her second year in the program. She brings tremendous athleticism and competitiveness to the team. She will play on the perimeter and be one of our best defenders. Makenna was a 1st team All-Kingco selection at shortstop last year as a sophomore. |

Personal
Makenna, or Mak as most people know her, was born on November 2nd 1993 at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland. Her loving family includes Mom Terri, Dad Jim and two older sisters Amanda and Dani and dog Duke. Makenna would have to say the best place to eat out is PF Chang’s and for dessert cookies and cream ice cream. Mak is a serious softball player but in her free time she enjoys shopping and hanging out with her friends and family. She enjoys listening to country music.

Hoops
Makenna has been playing basketball since the second grade. Makenna has set a goal for the team to win state this year. During practice her favorite drill is Seattle U. Mak loads up the carbs and enjoys Spaghetti as a pregame meal. To Makenna what makes a great basketball player is hard work, heart, and being a team player. Michael Jordan watch out – Makenna has her eyes on playing you in a game of one on one. During college, Makenna plans to play softball at Boise State. She loves the campus, the place and what their softball program is all about.

Other
Winning the King-Co title for softball last year is Makenna’s best high school memory so far. Few people know that Mak absolutely loves mash potatoes. Her parents were right when they told her to never give up on her dreams, which is good advice for everyone. Makenna’s bedroom would be called “Mak’s Domain” if it were a national monument. The reality show Makenna would be good on is Survivor because she loves a good challenge.
