Season Outlook
Anja is a first year varsity player. She is a senior and brings three years experience in the high school program. She brings a high level of energy and postive attitude to our program. She is extremely up beat and good natured and a large contributor to excellent team chemistry. She has developed a nice all around game. We look forward to her leadership as a senior every day in practice. |

Personal
Anja was born November 25, 1992 at Evergreen Hospital. Her family includes parents Peter and Marsha and older sister Mia. Anja also has a dog named Riley and a cat named Tucker. Anja’s sweet spot is for chocolate and her favorite dessert is chocolate cake while her favorite candies are Snickers and M&Ms. Her favorite drink is rootbeer. Anja’s favorite fast food restaurant is McDonalds where she loves ordering fries and it’s no surprise that she also loves their chocolate shake. If ever searching through Anja’s iPod you’re likely to find any type of music, but her favorite is acoustic and alternative. Anja loves watching Real World so don’t be surprised if one day you see her as the star of this reality show. While in high school Anja’s mom played softball and basketball.

Hoops
Like most people on the team Anja has been playing basketball since she was in 3rd grade. Anja’s favorite part of practice is running Seattle U. Her goals for the season are to become a better leader on the floor and improve her defensive skills. Anja’s favorite game memory is from last year when Coach Bernard told her to untie her shoes during a timeout so that the game would stop and she could buy some time while only seconds remained on the game clock. Good thing that Anja learned how to tie her shoes in Kindergarten or else Bernard’s plan might not have worked so well.

Other
When Anja lives on her own she is hoping to settle down in either Chicago, Washington, or California. Anja’s dad is considered a pretty funny guy so Anja feels he would be good on nearly any reality show, but most likely on Parental Control. If you’re hoping to be an actor later in life try hanging out with Anja because she loves making funny videos with her friends. According to Anja three words to best describe herself would be intelligent, motivated, and caring. If you ever need a good set of ears to talk into try talking to Anja because friends say her best quality is her listening skills. Anja’s favorite high school memory so far is from the first time she went to Gonzaga camp and the Oregon tournament with the team.
