#23 Deidre Miller

  Height: 6'1 Weight:  Class: 2012

Season Outlook
Deidre is in her first year at Woodinville. She is 6'1 and has an outstanding shooting stroke. She is a nice addition on the perimeter and will complement our strong inside game. She spent the last two years recovering from ACL surgeries and is now excited to be healthy and back on the hardwoods. Look for a big smile on her face as she returns to the game she loves.

Personal
Deidre was born June 15th, 1994 in Seattle's Swedish Hospital. She has 5 siblings, Derick, Trey, Tony, Erin, Karly. All of them love basketball. Her favorite place to eat out is Olive Garden. She enjoys acting and dancing-when her teammates don't force her. Her favorite type of music is anything with a good beat or that sends a strong message. She woud be a good contestant on Big Brother because she would be very competitive while also forming true bonds. Her favorite candy is Swedish Fish. Few people know that D likes watching ballet. She says that if her bedroom was made into a national monument it would be named "Sunny D National Park." She wants to attend any university that wants a 6"1 shooting guard enough to pay her way through school…preferably the west coast.
Hoops
D has been playing basketball since 2nd grade when she got over her shyness. Her favorite basketball drill is 3 on 3 continuous. Her personal goal in basketball this year is to stay healthy and make it to the Tacoma Dome. D's favorite pre-game meal is Jamba Juice oatmeal with a banana. She says a great player is a complete player, an unselfish player, a coachable player, and a player that has the gift to make her teammates better. Her favorite high school memory has yet to come but hopefully will come out of my years during WHS basketball. She would most like to play one-on-one with Maya Moore, but she would have to be spotted 10 points and play to 11 :)
